Stay With Jehovah

Genesis 18:22 – And the men turned their faces from thence, and went toward Sodom: but Abraham stood yet before the LORD.

There is benefit in staying with the Lord. There is none that stays in the Lord and suffer. God’s presence brings light and life. Abraham stayed with the Lord and this must have exposed him to lots of things because Jehovah might have taught Abraham the great usefulness and importance of faith and prayer.

In Psalm 84:10, David confessed how positive it is to be in the house of the Lord. Here is not literally the physical house but it is the presence of God that is being referred to here. Beloved, always stay with the Lord.

Psalm 84:10 – For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

Don’t Look Back! Luke 9:62 – And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God. Faulty Covenant

Faulty Covenant Hebrews 8:7 [7] For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. Covenant as a strong bound that is not easily broken can be faulty. The covenant made betwixt God and the Israelites was a faulty covenant in this time of Grace but perfect in it's time. The covenant wasn't to lead sinner's unto Christ's but it was to lead them unto their destructive end quickly. The old covenant was a period of darkness and pains (because it was more by works and not by grace) but thanks to God who invalidated the old covenant and gave us the covenant of Grace where Jesus is the mediator no longer Moses. God spoken of the new covenant long ago in Jeremiah 31:31; it was manifested in Christ. This new covenant brings light to the soul.
