Never His Interest!

Genesis 18:25 – That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?

God is never interested in the death of sinner hence, this bargain between Him and Abraham. God always want sinners to come to repentance. He doesn’t want to destroy because of few sinners.

This speaks of the mercy of God. I believe that fifty (50) people is not one-hundredth of the population of Sodom and Gomorrah, but God was ready to save Sodom and Gomorrah if fifty people that are righteous had been found.

God wants all sinners to repent and in no way is He interested in the death of sinners – Ezekiel 18:23. Nevertheless, continuation in sin and neglect of God’s grace and compassion will result to the death of sinners just as in the case of Sodom and Gomorrah.

Let’s all accept God’s mercy and don’t continue in sin – Romans 6:1. Shalom.

It is a secret grief which is personally experienced, not in mere form, but as a deep, soul-moving work of the Holy Spirit upon the inmost heart of each believer. It is not a matter to be merely talked of and believed in, but keenly and sensitively felt in every living child of the living God. It is powerfully humiliating, and completely sin-purging; but then it is sweetly preparative for those gracious consolations which proud un-humbled spirits are unable to receive; and it is distinctly discriminating, for it belongs to the elect of God, and to them alone.

Faulty Covenant

Faulty Covenant Hebrews 8:7 [7] For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. Covenant as a strong bound that is not easily broken can be faulty. The covenant made betwixt God and the Israelites was a faulty covenant in this time of Grace but perfect in it's time. The covenant wasn't to lead sinner's unto Christ's but it was to lead them unto their destructive end quickly. The old covenant was a period of darkness and pains (because it was more by works and not by grace) but thanks to God who invalidated the old covenant and gave us the covenant of Grace where Jesus is the mediator no longer Moses. God spoken of the new covenant long ago in Jeremiah 31:31; it was manifested in Christ. This new covenant brings light to the soul.
