A Close Heart?
Acts 16:14
And a certain woman named Lydia ... which worshipped God, heard us: whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul.
2 Corinthians 4:4
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
Beloved, from the above Scriptures we see that there exist two kind of heart to God's Word. As a human, is your heart open towards God's Words? Do you accept and do His word? Do you filter His word to suit you? If your heart is close towards God's word, you can't make meaning out of it. Hebrew 3:15, encourage us not to close/harden our heart to God's word. Doing so results to our physical and/or spiritual death.
To be healed, blessed and lifted this week and always, open your heart to God's word. Have the contrite heart and humble spirit in you.
May God open us. Have a nice week ahead for you. Shalom and Joy!
