Jude 1:20

[20]But you, dear friends, must continue to build your most holy faith for your own benefit. Furthermore, continue to pray in the Holy Spirit.

A strong person will not remain strong without a continuous training and exercise. This is the reason why we are being admonished, to continuous build our Holy faith.

Meditating on the Word day and night; Joshua 1:8, preaching the Word in and out of season; 2 Timothy 4:2 and being in the Holy Spirit is a way of building our holy faith.

As Christians, keep believing the message that comes from God. Do everything that you can to believe it more and more strongly. Likewise, help each other to believe it. Let God’s Spirit lead you when you pray and in all things.

As there is something to build, there is also something to destroy. Those weights of sin, unchristian characters and weak points should be destroyed. We should grow in the grace God has given us, 2 Peter 3:18, Philippians 2:12.

"Rend your heart, and not your garments." --Joel 2:13 Apart from vital godliness all religion is utterly vain; offered without a sincere heart, every form of worship is a solemn sham and an impudent mockery of the majesty of heaven. HEART-RENDING is divinely wrought and solemnly felt. It is a secret grief which is personally experienced, not in mere form, but as a deep, soul-moving work of the Holy Spirit upon the inmost heart of each believer. It is not a matter to be merely talked of and believed in, but keenly and sensitively felt in every living child of the living God. It is powerfully humiliating, and completely sin-purging; but then it is sweetly preparative for those gracious consolations which proud un-humbled spirits are unable to receive; and it is distinctly discriminating, for it belongs to the elect of God, and to them alone.

Faulty Covenant

Faulty Covenant Hebrews 8:7 [7] For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. Covenant as a strong bound that is not easily broken can be faulty. The covenant made betwixt God and the Israelites was a faulty covenant in this time of Grace but perfect in it's time. The covenant wasn't to lead sinner's unto Christ's but it was to lead them unto their destructive end quickly. The old covenant was a period of darkness and pains (because it was more by works and not by grace) but thanks to God who invalidated the old covenant and gave us the covenant of Grace where Jesus is the mediator no longer Moses. God spoken of the new covenant long ago in Jeremiah 31:31; it was manifested in Christ. This new covenant brings light to the soul.
