I Need Your Hand
1 Kings 18:46

[46] And the hand of the Lord was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.

Whose hand do you need - God's or human's? The hand that is upon your life determines the speed, security and safety of your life.

From the main verse, the king had not God's hand on him. This made him that despite he started first, he became the last. Elijah had God's hand on him and he overtook the King despite starting last and became the first.

Beloved, what matter most is not the time you started the race but the hand that is upon you in the race. Ecclesiastes 9:11 said it all and the time and chance is the grace and favour that comes from God ask bro Zerubbabel and he will tell you as in Zechariah 4:7.

Peculiar child of God, I pray that every race you have started, God's hands will carry you till the end. May God's overtaking speed locate your life now. That race will end in celebration and not in un-accomplishment.

It is a secret grief which is personally experienced, not in mere form, but as a deep, soul-moving work of the Holy Spirit upon the inmost heart of each believer. It is not a matter to be merely talked of and believed in, but keenly and sensitively felt in every living child of the living God. It is powerfully humiliating, and completely sin-purging; but then it is sweetly preparative for those gracious consolations which proud un-humbled spirits are unable to receive; and it is distinctly discriminating, for it belongs to the elect of God, and to them alone.

Faulty Covenant

Faulty Covenant Hebrews 8:7 [7] For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. Covenant as a strong bound that is not easily broken can be faulty. The covenant made betwixt God and the Israelites was a faulty covenant in this time of Grace but perfect in it's time. The covenant wasn't to lead sinner's unto Christ's but it was to lead them unto their destructive end quickly. The old covenant was a period of darkness and pains (because it was more by works and not by grace) but thanks to God who invalidated the old covenant and gave us the covenant of Grace where Jesus is the mediator no longer Moses. God spoken of the new covenant long ago in Jeremiah 31:31; it was manifested in Christ. This new covenant brings light to the soul.
