Stay Awake!
1 Thessalonians 5:6

[6] Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.

Sleep is good but there are times when it is not required to sleep. Just like staying awake to read due to an examination, so we are to stay awake due to Christ's soon coming.

Sleeping here entails negligence and recklessness towards a particular expected event. Like in the case of exams, it is playing, not being studious and doing non academic activities.

Christ's coming ought to keep us MORE awake, sober and watchful because none knows the time and none will like to remain after rapture. Be spiritually studious, watchful and awake. Continue in the kingdom of God, Rom. 14:17 and don't entertain another gospel (ideas, philosophy and man made doctrines and teachings), Gal. 1:6-9, 2 Cor. 11:4.

Beloved, we are of the day and not the night, hence let us be alert, watchful, cautious, and on our guard, also being calm, collected, and circumspect because of Christ's work. Shalom!!

Faulty Covenant

Faulty Covenant Hebrews 8:7 [7] For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. Covenant as a strong bound that is not easily broken can be faulty. The covenant made betwixt God and the Israelites was a faulty covenant in this time of Grace but perfect in it's time. The covenant wasn't to lead sinner's unto Christ's but it was to lead them unto their destructive end quickly. The old covenant was a period of darkness and pains (because it was more by works and not by grace) but thanks to God who invalidated the old covenant and gave us the covenant of Grace where Jesus is the mediator no longer Moses. God spoken of the new covenant long ago in Jeremiah 31:31; it was manifested in Christ. This new covenant brings light to the soul. Everlasting Not Temporal! Jeremiah 31:3 – The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with loving-kindness have I drawn thee Hello God’s Love! There is a love greater than the greatest love you have ever experience on earth, that love is the Love of God. Malachi 1:2. God love all but all don’t have the same love effect or love level. Long before we were born, God has already loved us. This His love is everlasting not temporal. This love is not subject to some conditions before it is demonstrated or shown. This love just flow from God our Father to us supernaturally. This everlasting love of God has made Him draw us from the troubles and problems of this world to His place of joy and everlasting peace.
