Isaiah 45:22

[22] Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else

Looking can be either living or dying but with God, looking is always living. Why should I looked onto God? He is your creator, sustainer, supplier and everything. He is your life, Hebrews 12:2.

Looking unto God is the total and full dependence of your person on God. Do you know that without God, you and I are no where? Just as the manufacturer, producer and creator of a thing has the full right to control, dictate and destroy what was made so also with God, Isaiah 45:9; 29:16.

Beloved of God, there is nothing harmful or destructive in looking unto God. Great men and women are lookers of God, Psalms 5:3; 33:5. Not looking unto the Lord brings woe, shame, frustration, disappointment and other negative things, Isaiah 31:1.

Beloved make it your aim to look unto God and not human or anything inanimate so that you will have life, peace, promotion and goodies!

"Rend your heart, and not your garments." --Joel 2:13 Apart from vital godliness all religion is utterly vain; offered without a sincere heart, every form of worship is a solemn sham and an impudent mockery of the majesty of heaven. HEART-RENDING is divinely wrought and solemnly felt. It is a secret grief which is personally experienced, not in mere form, but as a deep, soul-moving work of the Holy Spirit upon the inmost heart of each believer. It is not a matter to be merely talked of and believed in, but keenly and sensitively felt in every living child of the living God. It is powerfully humiliating, and completely sin-purging; but then it is sweetly preparative for those gracious consolations which proud un-humbled spirits are unable to receive; and it is distinctly discriminating, for it belongs to the elect of God, and to them alone.

Faulty Covenant

Faulty Covenant Hebrews 8:7 [7] For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. Covenant as a strong bound that is not easily broken can be faulty. The covenant made betwixt God and the Israelites was a faulty covenant in this time of Grace but perfect in it's time. The covenant wasn't to lead sinner's unto Christ's but it was to lead them unto their destructive end quickly. The old covenant was a period of darkness and pains (because it was more by works and not by grace) but thanks to God who invalidated the old covenant and gave us the covenant of Grace where Jesus is the mediator no longer Moses. God spoken of the new covenant long ago in Jeremiah 31:31; it was manifested in Christ. This new covenant brings light to the soul.
