My World Won’t Wait Anymore! Romans 8:19 – For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. We are in a world and we have an immediate world around us. Our immediate world is dependent on our manifestation in many ways. If we don’t manifest the packages God divinely placed in us, then this immediate world will suffer. Gideon was a mighty man but until his manifestation of the greatness God placed in him, his world suffered and was under the reproach of their enemies [Judges 6]. Little wonder the scripture above make us to understand that manifestation is a remedy and cure to the ills in our immediate world and the world at large. Consider The Afterward 1 Hebrews 12:11 – Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby. Life is a school and by virtue of our faith (belief) we are in the school where Jehovah is the Proprietor, Jesus Christ is the Principal and the Holy Spirit is the Proctor. We as God’s students turned sons can’t be left without His chastisement when we do wrong. When humans are chastised, there arise pains and sadness but the acceptance of the chastisement by the chastised human makes him or her to not repeat the reason for his or her chastisement. To be frank, God’s chastisement is never for evil but for our own benefits. The Best Desire Proverbs 24:14 – So let your desire be for wisdom: if you have it, there will be a future, and your hope will not be cut off. We are humans and there is freedom of desiring given to us by God. That is, we are free to desire whatever we want. Despite God wants good for us, if we desire our down fall, then we have ourselves to blame. In the above scripture, God has given us a key to having a future. This key is to desire wisdom. A wise human will not fall into destruction because he or she will not do what will destruct him or her. Note that before destruction, there is an action or there are actions and this action or these actions will be avoided by a wise human. Note that the wisdom here is not the human/carnal/earthly wisdom but the divine wisdom. Wisdom makes hopes not to be cut off because it translates hopes to manifestation. Standing In The Evil Days Ephesians 6:13 – Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand With the happening around us these days, it is no longer news that we are in the evils and we are fast approaching the end. It has been long said through the spirit of God this time will come. In the same way, we have been advised on what to do so that the evil days will not sweep us out of our foot. Note that there are two evil days, personal (temptations, hard times and others) and general (moral decadence, wars, unrest and others). Despite the evil day a believer is faced with, the only remedy to standing is to put on the whole armour of God. These armours are for our protection unlike the weapons that are for fighting (2 Corinthian 10:4) and they are listed in verse 14-18. The Unifying Force! 1 Corinthians 12:4-6 – Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all There is no need for division in Christianity when it comes to the ministration of the gifts of the spirit, as well as the administration and the operations of spiritual gifts. In every church and Christian body/organisation, there should be no division if we say we have the Holy Spirit of God. The Holy Spirit of God can never cause division, hatred or separation. Getting Grace and Glory Psalm 84:11 – For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. Jehovah is a fair God. He doesn’t rob one to pay another. He is a God that follows principles. That is, He tells us His principle to getting a thing from Him. 2 Chronicles 7:14, Exodus 19:5, Isaiah 1:19, Exodus 23:25 and so on. Wait and Be Strong Isaiah 40:31 – But those who are waiting for the Lord will have new strength; they will get wings like eagles: running, they will not be tired, and walking, they will have no weariness. There are times when one will be down in life; academically, financially, health wise and other aspects. The down time in a human’s life shouldn’t make the human more depress and do something evil like committing/attempting suicide and other vices. When down times comes, what then should the depressed human do? Wait! Yes, just wait on the Lord. The eagle also has a down time when it is aging but the eagle separates itself to a mountain and there it renews her strength through different painful processes. There is a lesson here! The Need For Divine Wisdom Proverbs 3:13 – Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. Intelligence is not wisdom. Divine wisdom is taking godly decisions. Any wisdom without the fear of God is earthly wisdom and earthly wisdom will never bring long lasting peace, joy and satisfaction. Proverbs 4:23, Ecclesiastes 9:16-18 Divine wisdom enables human to excel and to be distinguished among his or fellows. Divine wisdom controls the tongue and divine wisdom is better than weapon of war because wars are not fought and won by weapon nor wealth but with divine wisdom. James 4:8, Psalm 25:14 No fear of God, no wisdom. Have the fear of God so that your wisdom will not be corrupted by the devil. Growing to Manifest! Luke 1:80 – And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, and was in the deserts till the day of his shewing unto Israel. Until you manifest, there is no honour or glory. You don’t jump to manifestation but you grow to manifestation. Luke 4:14, 1 Corinthians 2:9, Romans 8:19 There is a time that you are expected to manifest and that time is dependent on your preparation and training. Your Identity! 1 Thessalonians 5:5 – Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Every person or animal or thing has an identity. This identity can be specific or general. We as humans we have our identity but there is a more solid and powerful identity that supersedes all. We are the children of light this is by virtue of our belief in the Light (John 1:5, John 3:19). This directly means that as we are children of light we have the Light’s life and no power can control our life except the Light and the Life. You and I have been illuminated by Jesus Christ and we should continue in this light because that is our identity. The second part of the scripture makes us to understand that as children of light and not of darkness, there are some things which we are not to do. We are not to do the works of darkness; we are not to do the works of the night [Romans 13:12, Ephesians 5:11]. Anything that is not of Christ is the work of

Believing Enhances Your Walking! Ephesians 5:8 – For you at one time were dark, but now are light in the Lord: let your behaviour be that of children of light The above scripture in the King James Version have it, “…walk as children of light”. Many people will focus on the preaching of walking, doing and behaving as the children of light, but this is not where it starts for. Jesus in His days focused on adjusting the people’s belief from the wrong to the right. This Jesus knew that once they believe right, then they will do, behave and walk right. Notably, in Matthew 5:14, Jesus made us to understand that we are the light of the world before coming in verse 16; that our light should shine before men. Do you see beloved? Telling a believer of tithing to pay tithe and telling an unbeliever of tithing to pay tithe; which will be easier out of the two? It is only when we believe that we are in the light that we will be in the light and that we will walk as children of the light. Note that

No More in Darkness! John 12:36 – While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them. Dearly beloved of God, Ephesians 5:8 made us to understand that we were in darkness but now we are no more in darkness. Colossians 1:13 clearly says, “Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son”; meaning that we are no longer in darkness and we are not under the powers of darkness. Beloved, believe that you are not in darkness and no power of darkness can hold you down. Why should you believe? The world in which we are in is filled of evil and darkness; and physically we are dwelling among darkness as it may be seen but spiritually we are not. Eternal Life – Given But Not Got? 1 Timothy 6:12 – Be fighting the good fight of the faith; take for yourself the life eternal, for which you were marked out, and of which you gave witness in the eyes of all. We dream of a life full of comfort and void of problems. We yarn towards an environment that there will be endless pleasure, peace, comfort and love. The access to this kind of life (eternal life) has been given but the question is has it been gotten? Apostle Paul admonished Timothy (which we put ourselves as Timothy today), to fight the good fight of faith and take hold of eternal life which has been given. Wondering how is salvation got? 1 Timothy 1:16 made us to understand that through believing in Jesus we get eternal life. Know Jesus has already given salvation to all but only those that believe get the salvation (eternal life). Not all fight of fight is a good fight. Some are really evil and bad fight of faith. What’s Your Wisdom? Isaiah 5:21 – Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and intelligent in their own esteem! There are different types of wisdom. We have wisdom that comes from God which is pure and not proud. The other is the wisdom from the devil which is so full of self, arrogance and impure. Wisdom is a good thing when it is from God else it brings destruction and sorrows. As Christians, how do we live our life? Do we live with God’s wisdom or with devil’s wisdom? Devil’s wisdom is the when someone is wise in his or her own eyes devil’s wisdom is when someone takes pride in his or her knowledge. Devil’s wisdom never accepts the teachings of the scripture and it disdains the anointed and messengers of God. Beloved, there is a curse to those that dwells in and acts with the wisdom of devil. You Have Been Bought! 1 Peter 1:18-19 – Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: All Glory be to Jehovah who foreordained that we would be redeemed. All thanks be to Jesus Christ that agreed to be the Lamb and our redeemer. All respect and honour be to the Holy Spirit who is the power behind Christ’s resurrection. Beloved, we have been redeemed and this should be our mind set. The price of our redemption was all paid by Jesus through His precious blood. Our redemption was not made by the corruptible things of this world but by the most precious and incorruptible things of the whole wide world. Only Be Strong Joshua 1:6 – Take heart and be strong; for you will give to this people for their heritage the land which I gave by an oath to their fathers. Innumerable Wonders! Psalm 40:5 – Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered. Take A Short Rest! Mark 6:31 – And he said unto them, Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a while: for there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat. Rest is a very vital thing. Working without physical rest is catastrophic to our health. As a Christian, we live our life by Jesus Christ’s standard. This verse makes us to understand that our master took a rest in a certain time when the crowd was much. Reading from the Easy English version, “Many people were coming and going. Jesus and the disciples were too busy even to eat. So Jesus said to them, “Come with me to a place where there are no other people. We should be alone together. Then we can rest for a short time.”” You see, child of God, please don’t destroy your health and physical body. Take a rest like Jesus and His disciples did. Maintain Your Confidence Hebrews 10:35-36 – Cast not away therefore your confidence, which has great recompense. For ye have need of endurance in order that, having done the will of God, ye may receive the promise. Diligence and perseverance are the keys to getting rewarded. What are those things you were burning for in Christ? What were those things that you zealously did for Christ? If you have slowed down or have completely stopped those things then there can’t be a reward for you. Beloved, this was why the Angel to the Church in Revelation 2:4 said, “Return to your first love”. To this generation, you and I the same message is to us, “Return to your first love [for Jesus Christ]”. There are many things to make our love (believe, zeal and confidence) wax cold but we shouldn’t let it be [Matthew 24:12, Romans 8:35-39]. Whom To Imitate? Hebrews 6:11-12 – And it is our desire that you may all keep the same high purpose in certain hope to the end. that ye be not sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience have been inheritors of the promises. Greetings beloved of God! No one is an island and none is a model to himself or herself. The life is filled with so many good and bad examples and each example given a result which is as a result of some actions and/or inactions. The result you desire will determine which example you are to apply which in turn define your actions and inactions, The word of God to us today is telling us that if we need good and if we want to inherit the promises of God, then we have to use those that inherited the promise of God in their life as our example. Be More Diligent! 2 Peter 1:10 – Therefore, brethren, be the more zealous to confirm your call and election, for if you do this you will never fall. Diligence can never produce failure! The Bible advised us to be diligent in whatever we are doing and when we are diligent, we will be lifted. Proverbs 22:29; Proverbs 13:4; Proverbs 21:5 tells us about the numerous benefits of being diligent. Today’s scripture is advising us to be diligent in our services and worships to God. Serve God diligently and when you do, we will never fall nor fail in our life. Your diligence confirms your decision, readiness and willingness to serve.  Proverbs 10:24 – He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich. So to be blessed spiritually, we have to be diligent. Remember that if you fail not, in due time you will eat the fruit of thy work, Galatians 6:9. Blessedness of Believing! Romans 15:13 – Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that ye should abound in hope by [the] power of [the] Holy Spirit. There is a force in believing. It is what one believes that works for him or her. Believing is a product of the heart and out of the heart flow the issues of life. Hence, out of believing flows the issues life. Since believing determines what is got by anyone, why do some people get bad in place of good? This is because they believed wrongly. There is right believing! Believe right beloved that you will get the blessings from believing. The blessedness of believing is the joy and peace that we obtain through believing. This joy and peace is not that which is got from this world or by means of this world. This joy and peace is that which flows to the believer through the power of the Holy Spirit. Be The Same! Philippians 2:2-3 – Make my joy complete by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in harmony and of one mind. Doing nothing through envy or through pride, but with low thoughts of self, let everyone take others to be better than himself; The power of oneness can’t be underestimated! Being the same starts from the spirit and not from the physical. Christianity is all about oneness [that is why God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are all one]. The Men!  Ephesians 4:23-26 – …And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another. There are forces that what to occupy everyone and at least one of these forces resides in everyone. The force that residing in a human defines the man in the human and the works (character) displayed and exhibited by the human. We were in the world, we had the old man in us. The old man wants the things of the flesh and loves the world. This old man enjoys destroying our souls, peace, joy and hope in exchange for a momentary pleasure. The Crown of Life! Revelation 2:10 – … Be true till death, and I will give you the crown of life. There is a reward to everyone in Christianity. We are bound to face many things as clearly stated in the opening part of today’s scripture. These things are so because we are of the light and we are different. Falling for these harsh treatments that will be given to Christians by the evil one will leave the Christian crownless. I so much pray that all Christians should have the crown of life at the end. We are running a race – a strong race! Holy Spirit please empower all Christians again that we might be able to endure till the end and win the crown of life. You Define Your Expectation Proverbs 10:28 – The hope of the righteous is joy; but the expectation of the wicked shall perish. Life is a file and our daily living is seed planting. The file will be appraise at a point in time and the seed planted will germinate and the planter will harvest and partake of the germinated seed. It is good to wish a thing but wishing is not enough as the outcome is defined by who we are (note that we are who we are by our actions and inactions, that is, our actions and inactions define us.) Your Choice Matters Deuteronomy 30:19 – I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: In life, our actions are the choices we make daily. Life is not solely dependent on the wish of God for us. To a large extent our choices affects God’s will for us. Getting Salvation and Strength Isaiah 30:15 – For thus saith the Lord Jehovah, the Holy One of Israel: In returning and rest shall ye be saved, in quietness and confidence shall be your strength; but ye would not. In today’s world, there many things that pulls and deteriorate the strength of human. Also, there are many things that kill and destroy human. In the midst of all the happenings in the world, human have no option than to be without strength and be in a dying mode. The breaking news flying over the air is more than enough to destroy human. Change For The Better! Jeremiah 26:13 – So now, make a change for the better in your ways and your doings, and give ear to the voice of the Lord your God; then the Lord will let himself be turned from the decision he has made against you for evil In life, there is always room for improvement. This improvement comes with the readiness and willingness to change for the better. There is a good change and a bad change. What God want from us is a better change. There might be things you and I might have been doing that are not in-line with the Lord’s word, and these things might have made God to make evil pronouncement upon us. It Is Concluded! Matthew 28:2 – And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it The plans of the enemies of your life can’t limit the positive plan and move of God concerning you. The enemies of Jesus buried Him and put a heavy stone thinking that the stone will stop God, but all failed. The same way all your enemies will fail in your life.
