Wait and Be Strong
Isaiah 40:31 – But those who are waiting for the Lord will have new strength; they will get wings like eagles: running, they will not be tired, and walking, they will have no weariness.
There are times when one will be down in life; academically, financially, health wise and other aspects. The down time in a human’s life shouldn’t make the human more depress and do something evil like committing/attempting suicide and other vices. When down times comes, what then should the depressed human do?
Wait! Yes, just wait on the Lord. The eagle also has a down time when it is aging but the eagle separates itself to a mountain and there it renews her strength through different painful processes. There is a lesson here! No wonder the Bible advices us to wait on the Lord for our strength to be renewed.
During waiting on the Lord, we have to undergo different painful processes like the eagle such as fasting, praying, giving, evangelism and lots more. Beloved, note that if the eagle don’t separates itself for those painful processes, it strength will not be renewed.
Heir of God, you can come out strong from that problem and issue, all you need to do is to wait on the Lord. Don’t listen to those distracting voices, just wait on Jehovah then you will come out refined, revived and restored. I pray that the grace to wait on Jehovah be given to us all in Jesus Name, Amen!
