The Men!
Ephesians 4:23-26 – …And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another. There are forces that what to occupy everyone and at least one of these forces resides in everyone. The force that residing in a human defines the man in the human and the works (character) displayed and exhibited by the human.
We were in the world, we had the old man in us. The old man wants the things of the flesh and loves the world. This old man enjoys destroying our souls, peace, joy and hope in exchange for a momentary pleasure. This old man is the satan the devil – John 10:10. The works of this old man are list from verse 25 to 27 where we are advised never to give space to the devil. See also, Galatians 5:19-21, 1 Corinthians 6:9, 1 Corinthians 3:3.
Who then is the other man? He is the new man! The nature of God is seen in the new man. The new man is the human that has kill the old man; that has taken off the old man; that does not the works of the old man – Colossians 3:5, Galatians 5:22-26. The new man is not envious or desirous of vainglory.
Beloved of God, the old man can never give you eternity; always remember his mission in John 10:10. Come onto Jesus and put on the new man. Guide your live and live your life with Christ’s life – Philippians 2:5.
I pray that God will help you and I [all inhabitants of the earth at large] to always put on the new man and never put on the old man, in Jesus name, Amen. Shalom!
