Your Choice Matters

Your Choice Matters
Deuteronomy 30:19 – I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

In life, our actions are the choices we make daily. Life is not solely dependent on the wish of God for us. To a large extent our choices affects God’s will for us. God does not force His will on everyone except on a rare occasion like that of Paul and Jonah.

From the above scripture you will see the power of our choice. God always set before us good and evil, blessing and curse and promotion and demotion and so on, but what we choose determines the outcome.

Adam and Eve were give the same choice that we are daily faced with. They had all pleasure until they made a bad choice by eating from the tress that God asked them not to eat from. Adam and Eve indirectly choose death by disobeying God.

Beloved, it is true that God have good taught for us and that His taught for us can’t be stopped by any human, but also this is true that God’s taught for us can be stopped by ourselves and our choice affects God’s taught for us; ask Bro. Samson in the Bible and he will tell you.

I pray that the Holy Spirit will help our decisions and daily choice so that we will always choose life, good, blessings, promotion etcetera and not the opposite. I also pray that the areas and choices that made that are bad, may God’s grace speak for us and bring us back to the right path of life in Jesus name, Amen. Shalom!

Don’t Look Back!

Don’t Look Back! Luke 9:62 – And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God. Have you answered the call to serve God as His son and daughter? Have you totally chosen Jehovah as your God? Have you decided to leave your old ways and cleave unto God? If yes! Beloved I congratulate you. But hope you took the cost of your choice?? [Please refer to yesterday’s sermon] God doesn’t want us to look back when we have answered the call, why? This is because of the following: Firstly, it brings shame to the body of Christ and makes people to despise Christ. Looking back is to be lukewarm and to depart from the first love! [Revelation 2:4, Revelation 3:16] Secondly, looking back makes the believer to suffer backwardness spiritually and physical. The faith of the believer suffers and takes a longer time to be rebuilt. [Hebrews 6:4]. Thirdly, looking back will make the person not to complete whatever he or she has started. This is w...

Faulty Covenant

Faulty Covenant Hebrews 8:7 [7] For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. Covenant as a strong bound that is not easily broken can be faulty. The covenant made betwixt God and the Israelites was a faulty covenant in this time of Grace but perfect in it's time. The covenant wasn't to lead sinner's unto Christ's but it was to lead them unto their destructive end quickly. The old covenant was a period of darkness and pains (because it was more by works and not by grace) but thanks to God who invalidated the old covenant and gave us the covenant of Grace where Jesus is the mediator no longer Moses. God spoken of the new covenant long ago in Jeremiah 31:31; it was manifested in Christ. This new covenant brings light to the soul. Every covenant that do not bring light to your life, be destroyed now by fire! Whatever makes you to live by work and not by grace be destroyed! For God's name sake, let everyt...

Everlasting Not Temporal!

Everlasting Not Temporal! Jeremiah 31:3 – The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with loving-kindness have I drawn thee Hello God’s Love! There is a love greater than the greatest love you have ever experience on earth, that love is the Love of God. Malachi 1:2. God love all but all don’t have the same love effect or love level. Long before we were born, God has already loved us. This His love is everlasting not temporal. This love is not subject to some conditions before it is demonstrated or shown. This love just flow from God our Father to us supernaturally. This everlasting love of God has made Him draw us from the troubles and problems of this world to His place of joy and everlasting peace. [Ephesians 1:3, Hebrews 1:1-5]. The fact remains that we did nothing to acquire God’s love but we do things to grow His love for us. In the same way, despite what we do His love for us remains but we ...
