Getting Grace and Glory
Psalm 84:11 – For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

Jehovah is a fair God. He doesn’t rob one to pay another. He is a God that follows principles. That is, He tells us His principle to getting a thing from Him. 2 Chronicles 7:14, Exodus 19:5, Isaiah 1:19, Exodus 23:25 and so on.

There is nothing God can’t do, that is why we are reminded here that Jehovah is a sun and a shield; a sun for light and nourishment and a shield for protection and safety. Also, God gives grace and glory but to who? Those walk uprightly!

Uprightly? Yes! Note that it is not hypocritically neither is it by human perceptions but by godly standards. Beloved, how is your walk – both with God and with others? Don’t be deceived oh; if you don’t walk uprightly then you can’t enjoy God’s grace and glory!


People will say there is grace and grace will speak for us. Yes! There is grace but grace is not a licence to sin or to walk wrongly. Grace is not a can never make God be unjust – Galatians 6:7, Jude 1:4, Romans 6:1.

Make it your decision to walk uprightly and pray that God should aid you because by strength you and I can’t prevail again the works of the flesh. Shalom!

It is a secret grief which is personally experienced, not in mere form, but as a deep, soul-moving work of the Holy Spirit upon the inmost heart of each believer. It is not a matter to be merely talked of and believed in, but keenly and sensitively felt in every living child of the living God. It is powerfully humiliating, and completely sin-purging; but then it is sweetly preparative for those gracious consolations which proud un-humbled spirits are unable to receive; and it is distinctly discriminating, for it belongs to the elect of God, and to them alone.

Faulty Covenant

Faulty Covenant Hebrews 8:7 [7] For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. Covenant as a strong bound that is not easily broken can be faulty. The covenant made betwixt God and the Israelites was a faulty covenant in this time of Grace but perfect in it's time. The covenant wasn't to lead sinner's unto Christ's but it was to lead them unto their destructive end quickly. The old covenant was a period of darkness and pains (because it was more by works and not by grace) but thanks to God who invalidated the old covenant and gave us the covenant of Grace where Jesus is the mediator no longer Moses. God spoken of the new covenant long ago in Jeremiah 31:31; it was manifested in Christ. This new covenant brings light to the soul.
