Standing In The Evil Days
Ephesians 6:13 – Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand

With the happening around us these days, it is no longer news that we are in the evils and we are fast approaching the end. It has been long said through the spirit of God this time will come. In the same way, we have been advised on what to do so that the evil days will not sweep us out of our foot.

Note that there are two evil days, personal (temptations, hard times and others) and general (moral decadence, wars, unrest and others). Despite the evil day a believer is faced with, the only remedy to standing is to put on the whole armour of God. These armours are for our protection unlike the weapons that are for fighting (2 Corinthian 10:4) and they are listed in verse 14-18.


The armours are – Truth, Righteousness, Peace, Faith, Word of God, Prayers, and Perseverance. These seven armours will save our life from the calamity of the devil and from the evil days.

We should constantly examine ourselves and be rooted in the Spirit of God so that these armours will not be missing in us. Shalom!

Faulty Covenant

Faulty Covenant Hebrews 8:7 [7] For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. Covenant as a strong bound that is not easily broken can be faulty. The covenant made betwixt God and the Israelites was a faulty covenant in this time of Grace but perfect in it's time. The covenant wasn't to lead sinner's unto Christ's but it was to lead them unto their destructive end quickly. The old covenant was a period of darkness and pains (because it was more by works and not by grace) but thanks to God who invalidated the old covenant and gave us the covenant of Grace where Jesus is the mediator no longer Moses. God spoken of the new covenant long ago in Jeremiah 31:31; it was manifested in Christ. This new covenant brings light to the soul.
