Give Yourself First

2 Corinthians 8:5 – … they first gave themselves to the Lord …

To be a Christian, there is more than going to church and carrying Bible. The church of Macedonia was good Christians and they were addicted givers because they gave themselves first to the Lord.

Beloved, if you want to be a good Christian and an addicted giver, them there is need for you to give yourself to the Lord. Give yourself to the Lord is to seek first the kingdom of God – Matthew 6:33. Giving yourself to the Lord is to put yourself down and go first for the Lord’s bidding. It is to sow yourself in the Lord.

Beloved, if you have not given yourself to the Lord, please do so without delay. Start today and you will see how your life will gloriously shine, bearing much fruits with abundance. Shalom!

Prayer

O Lord! Help me that I will give myself to you totally. Help that I will sow myself to the world but to you in Jesus name, Amen.

In wrath, you remember mercy. Thanks to Jehovah that were in the second half of the year and in the month of revival. By grace even as you have reverential awe and fear for the Lord, the divine revival will continue throughout your life time. Mystery of Addition

Acts 2:47 … And the Lord added to the church daily … A careful and holy spirit concentrated reading shows that there is a mystery to addition. Addition is triggered by being in Favour with both God and Human. However, there is an action that triggers the state of being in favour with God and Human. Studying Luke 6:38, Luke 2:52 and other scriptures shows that there can’t be addition without favour and there can’t be favour without giving and oneness. The giving is not solely financial, but in all aspects of life. What you give never comes back to you in same quantity and quality. It is increased!
