Sin – A Stopper To Abundance

Sin – A Stopper To Abundance
Psalm 38:3 – There is no soundness in my flesh because of thine anger; neither is there any rest in my bones because of my sin.

The bible made us to understand that righteousness exalts … but sin is a reproach –Proverbs 14:34. We can conclude here that sin stops abundance.

Many seek for wellness in their body and in their bones but they continue in what the Lord has tagged as sin. How will the abundance come? There is abundance in terms of health and wellbeing for the bones and the body only when there is wellness of the soul – 3 John 2.

Sin stinks, sting and sinks. It sinks and brings disfavour, it stings and brings disappointments and it sinks and brings failure and frustration. The psalmist here acknowledged that there is no health in him because of sin. Beloved, sin will never bring divine abundance to any human. It might only bring earthly abundance which will not bring salvation to the soul.

One of my fathers in the Lord defined sin as salvation is nothing, hence sinners regards salvation that was given by Christ as nothing. That is why they act the way they do and they never take delight in obeying the Lord’s instructions and commands.

Beloved, depart from sin and you will have divine abundance in your life. Shalom!

Prayer

Jehovah, give me the grace and courage to depart from sin and to say yes to your instructions that I may have divine abundance and salvation, in Jesus name – Amen.

Don’t Look Back!

Don’t Look Back! Luke 9:62 – And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God. Have you answered the call to serve God as His son and daughter? Have you totally chosen Jehovah as your God? Have you decided to leave your old ways and cleave unto God? If yes! Beloved I congratulate you. But hope you took the cost of your choice?? [Please refer to yesterday’s sermon] God doesn’t want us to look back when we have answered the call, why? This is because of the following: Firstly, it brings shame to the body of Christ and makes people to despise Christ. Looking back is to be lukewarm and to depart from the first love! [Revelation 2:4, Revelation 3:16] Secondly, looking back makes the believer to suffer backwardness spiritually and physical. The faith of the believer suffers and takes a longer time to be rebuilt. [Hebrews 6:4]. Thirdly, looking back will make the person not to complete whatever he or she has started. This is w...

Faulty Covenant

Faulty Covenant Hebrews 8:7 [7] For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. Covenant as a strong bound that is not easily broken can be faulty. The covenant made betwixt God and the Israelites was a faulty covenant in this time of Grace but perfect in it's time. The covenant wasn't to lead sinner's unto Christ's but it was to lead them unto their destructive end quickly. The old covenant was a period of darkness and pains (because it was more by works and not by grace) but thanks to God who invalidated the old covenant and gave us the covenant of Grace where Jesus is the mediator no longer Moses. God spoken of the new covenant long ago in Jeremiah 31:31; it was manifested in Christ. This new covenant brings light to the soul. Every covenant that do not bring light to your life, be destroyed now by fire! Whatever makes you to live by work and not by grace be destroyed! For God's name sake, let everyt...

Everlasting Not Temporal!

Everlasting Not Temporal! Jeremiah 31:3 – The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with loving-kindness have I drawn thee Hello God’s Love! There is a love greater than the greatest love you have ever experience on earth, that love is the Love of God. Malachi 1:2. God love all but all don’t have the same love effect or love level. Long before we were born, God has already loved us. This His love is everlasting not temporal. This love is not subject to some conditions before it is demonstrated or shown. This love just flow from God our Father to us supernaturally. This everlasting love of God has made Him draw us from the troubles and problems of this world to His place of joy and everlasting peace. [Ephesians 1:3, Hebrews 1:1-5]. The fact remains that we did nothing to acquire God’s love but we do things to grow His love for us. In the same way, despite what we do His love for us remains but we ...
